Especially built by Vincent LE GARREC, "LIVRES.EXE" is a free software without program of installation. Once "unzipped", just place it anywhere on your drive (OS Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Me et 98).
Thanks to this software, you will be able to print booklets, with an ordinary printer, with the manner of a daily newspaper of the newspaper industry i.e. 4 pages per sheet (A4 format), the whole being folded into 2. "LIVRES.EXE" will not only enable you to print the (french) short books that one can download on this Internet site but also your own booklets, i.e. the file-texts "RTF" (Rich Text Format) which you will have created with a text editor. It should be noted that files "RTF" you can download on this site were designed with margins by defect and that it is advisable to leave them unchanged when the option "Mise en page" appears during the loading. If however, because of a particular printer setup, you have problems of layout of the text, for example if the image and the URL are not on last page of the booklet when you view it (before the impression), you can reorganize the text of file "RTF" by opening this one with a text editor and while using, inter alia things, returns to the line (spacings).

Once a file "RTF" located, launch the software and make "fichier - charger" by selecting the "RTF" file. Then, follow the instructions well. At the end of this operation, you will be able to view the book such as it will be printed (photograph Ci above).
For the impression, just make "fichier - Imprimer" and follow the instructions.

Indeed, the system of distribution of paper being variable according to printers', we advise you to start with the file "ESSAI.rtf" and this in order to know exactly how to lay out paper for the impression of the backs.
Once that the booklet is printed While waiting to be able to propose transparent plastic covers to you with an attachment unit to maintain the sheets tightened, we advise you to fix, with a transparent adhesive tape, the medium of the booklet to the cover. Another system : pose the booklet opened, cover with the top, on 2 boards (or others) of the same height by leaving a small space to the medium then, with an unfolded stapler, insert fasten on the level of the folding and then to manually fold back them in the middle of the booklet.
